Members will be pleased to note that the inaugural meeting of the Safety Committee is scheduled for the 22nd June. This is a welcome step in seeking a more productive approach to Health and Safety matters for both the Joint Branch Board and the Force. The first meeting will focus on agreeing terms of reference and selecting of agenda items. The Joint Branch Board will have three nominated Safety Representatives as permanent members of this Committee.
