My name is Neil Macdonald. I have 15 years police service and have previously served in Fort William, Golspie and Wick. I currently work within the Crime Management Unit at Stornoway.
I was elected to the Joint Branch Board as Constables' Representative for the Island Areas in March 2006. Since joining the JBB I have undertaken a Basic Federation Course and have recently completed a Conduct and Efficiency Course.
I understand the particular issues Federated Members in the Island Areas have and work closely with my Representative colleagues to ensure these issues are addressed.
