My name is Paul Eddington and I am a Chief Inspector based at Dingwall Police Station. I am the Inspector's representative for Ross, Cromarty & Skye Area Command. I have served with the Metropolitan Police in London and with Fife Constabulary prior to transferring to Northern Constabulary in 1989 where I have served in Bettyhill, Ullapool, Kirkwall, Headquarters and now in Dingwall.
Other than my stint in projects in Headquarters all of my service has been as an operational Police Officer so I would like to think that I have a fair understanding of this, the most fundamental and important aspect of policing. I hope to use this experience to help my colleagues as we enter another period of significant change."
