Joint Branch Board
The Northern Joint Branch Board of the Scottish Police Federation is constituted in accordance with the Police Act 1964 and Regulations made thereunder for the purposes of representing it's members in all matters affecting their "welfare and efficiency".
The Joint Branch Board (JBB) acts as a negotiating and consultative body in dealings with the Force's senior managers, the Chief Constable and the Police Authority.
The JBB is fully involved in the force decision-making process with locally elected Representatives forming part of the local management team and JBB Officials representing the Board at all the Force's corporate meetings including the Force Policy Forum.
The JBB also participates in a variety of ad hoc 'working groups' periodically set up to address specific issues.
JBB Officials attend meetings of the Northern Joint Police Board and good relations maintained with elected Members, the Convener and Vice Convener.
Northern Joint Branch Board's officials are;
