Following the recent retiral of Detective Inspector Donnie Ross a vacancy now exists on the Joint Branch Board for a member of the Inspecting Ranks from East Division or Headquarters.

It is hoped that this vacancy will be filled by 30 November 2009 and anyone who is interested in standing for this vacancy can contact the Joint Branch Board Office for further details.

Nomination forms which are available from the JBB Office must be countersigned by a proposer and seconder from the relevant area and must havethe approval of the candidate.Completed forms must be in the hands of the Presiding Officer (JBB Office Manager - Mairi MacGregor) by 12 noon on Monday 6 November 2009.

In the event of there being more than one nomination received then an election will take place and all those elligible to vote will be provided with ballot papers.
