Bulletins issued throughout
2001 kept Members fully updated on the ongoing negotiations at the Police
Negotiating Board's Working Party on Pay.
These negotiations are now
concluded and, as promised, Members will shortly be given the opportunity to
indicate whether they accept the 'package' reached, or not.
It is my intention to
ensure that every Federated Officer receives the 'full package' (17 pages) to
their home address as experience has shown this to be the most effective method
of ensuring receipt of what is vital information. A stamped addressed envelope
will be included for ease of response with the consultation requiring to be
concluded by 8th February.
The following Bulletin,
received today, 'summarise(s) the content of the package' and I would ask that
Members do not telephone seeking further information as the sheer logistics of
this exercise are very demanding.
