UNDERWRITING LTD – TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY
Your attention is drawn to the Travel Insurance Policy and
in particular to the provisions of:
Section 11 – Sports & Activities.
Covered
You are covered when participating in sports and
activities listed under level 1. You are covered when participating in sports
and activities listed under level 2 if you have paid the appropriate
additional premium (please refer to your policy schedule).
The Policy document lists level 1 and level 2 sports and
activities.
All officers making use of this travel insurance should
familiarise themselves with the provisions of cover contained within the
document.
In the case of Section 11 above, any officer who intends
to participate in any level 2 sports or activities is advised that an
additional premium is required to extend the cover provided.
At the time of this bulletin the cost of such extended
cover is £20 per trip, which is payable, in advance, to the Joint Branch Board,
Federation Office, 19 Union Street, Inverness.
You should also be aware that the provision of insurance
cover does not extend to cover participation in professional or organised
sports, racing, speed or endurance tests and dangerous pursuits.

application of the Group Travel Insurance Policy then you should contact you
local Federation Representative for further information.
