5.  Ranks

The ranks which may be held by members of a police force shall be known by the following designations-

Chief Constable;

Deputy Chief Constable;

Assistant Chief Constable;

Chief Superintendent;

Superintendent;

Chief Inspector;

Inspector;

Sergeant;

Constable.
